Evert-Jan is a partner at Taxand Netherlands in the international tax team and specializes in the investment management sector.
Evert-Jan is tax adviser with over 18 years experience in advising on Dutch corporate and international tax law. His particular areas of expertise are tax structuring, tax compliance and tax monitoring of Dutch and pan-European investment funds (mainly private equity, real estate) and related platforms. Next to advising fund managers, he also assists global institutional investors on tax aspects in relation to investments.
Evert-Jan is former chair of the INREV Tax Committee, chair of Taxand’s real estate service line and member of the Dutch Private Equity Association. He is also member of the Committee on International Tax Affairs of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers, in which role he advises the Dutch Ministry of Finance on tax legislation.
He speaks fluent Dutch, English and German.
