Martijn is a partner with Taxand Netherlands where he heads the Dutch Indirect Tax practice.
Martijn specializes in indirect taxes and focuses primarily on advising on VAT, both on a national and international level. He provides guidance to clients on the risks and opportunities presented by European regulations. His clients operate in various industries, including financial services, business services, industry and wholesale trade. His responsibilities go beyond providing tax advice and assisting with its implementation, as he also engages in tax audits and represents clients in legal proceedings.
Martijn is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers and the Association of Tax Science. He is also a lawyer and, as such, a member of the Dutch Bar Association. In the practice areas register of the Dutch Bar Association, he is registered in the main (and sub) practice area: Tax Law.
